Infrared Camera
About the Project
This album cover was created for Wonstein’s track “Infrared Camera” from Show Me The Money 9. The visual concept was directly inspired by the lyric:
“The infrared camera sees me—
but the only thing glowing is my heart.”
A haunting and tender line that speaks to emotional exposure—not just being watched, but having one’s love, warmth, and inner feeling quietly revealed. The design translates this into a striking infrared thermal aesthetic, where the body is rendered cool and shadowy, but the heart burns with glowing intensity.
At the center of the design is a custom calligraphic wordmark, shaped like a radiating heat signature—a visual metaphor for love seen through emotion, not expression. Framing brackets, grain textures, and a simulated shrink-wrap effect reinforce themes of analog intimacy, emotional surveillance, and vulnerability under quiet observation.
The result is a visual system that fuses emotionally charged typography with poetic storytelling—a cover that doesn’t just reflect the music, but feels like it.
