NOSTALGIA CITY
reality vs. imagination
About the Project
“Is my past a reality or an idealized imagination?”
Nostalgia City: reality vs imagination is a solo-designed, multi-format exhibition exploring memory, digital decay, and emotional resonance through typographic, spatial, and interactive design. What began as a screenprint evolved into an immersive system—poster, publication, video, signage, and interactive installation—each a variation on the core question: Is my past a reality, or an idealized imagination?
The project started with a speculative cityscape screenprint and grew into a visual archive reflecting how memory mutates across formats—print, screen, code, and public space.
Each piece functions as both artifact and experience: brochures as navigational ephemera, posters as relics, animations as digital traces. The show centered emotional clarity, typographic storytelling, and speculative nostalgia.
Included works: public signage mockups, risograph materials, a printed archive, screenprints, interactive projection, and exhibition collateral.
