A curated selection of projects that showcase the versatility of my creative practice—spanning disciplines, tools, and tones. These works reflect strengths in storytelling, experimentation, and visual systems, and demonstrate how design can shift across media, from print to motion to digital form.

Drawn from across categories, each piece is included here for its role in shaping my voice as a designer—and for how it connects process to purpose, material to message.

Nostalgia

About the Project

Nostalgia is a three-layer reductive screenprint created through an entirely hand-drawn process. Using screen filler applied directly onto the mesh with brushes and sticks, I built and reduced the image over time—each mark becoming a physical trace of memory.

The color palette includes four inks: a glowing yellow and orange underlayer, and a split fountain gradient of deep to light blue that sweeps across the sky. This fading indigo wash evokes twilight turning into memory—beautiful, fleeting, and fractured.

The piece is rooted in my childhood nostalgia for Seoul, reimagined as a surreal nightscape. Korean letters are scattered across the sky like constellations, with more hidden among the architectural forms of the dreamlike city below. The skyline, abstract and symbolic, floats between remembered place and imagined space.

As glowing stars spiral above and the skyline hums below, the composition becomes a visual poem—capturing the layered, luminous nature of how we remember. Nostalgia blends cultural identity, childhood memory, and analog craft into a richly textured meditation on time and place.
