Process-based works grounded in risograph, screenprint, etching, lithograph, and letterpress. Printmaking here becomes more than reproduction—it’s a method of storytelling, of building physical traces and temporal layers, often informed by nostalgia, language, and texture.
Winter Wonder
About the Project
Winter Wonder is an independent letterpress project created using pochoir (stencil) and experimental chemical spill techniques. Inspired by childhood memories of winter, the prints capture the fleeting magic of imagination during the holiday season.
The first row presents layered imagery—stars, snowmen, trees—evoking the wonder of a winter’s night. In the second row, the forms begin to dissolve through chemical manipulation, visually echoing how memories and imagination fade with time, like snow melting into spring.
As the palette shifts from deep indigo to translucent white, each print becomes a quiet meditation on transience. Like snowflakes dissolving on a windowpane, the work reflects how the vivid inner worlds of childhood gently recede beneath the surface of adulthood.
